Jaddi Kanaan: The Pulse of Our Roots… and a Message for the Future
Jerusalem has always been more than just a city or a place in our hearts. It is the identity that shapes our consciousness and the compass that guides our steps. From this belief, the “My Grandfather Canaan” Foundation was born in 2014 to serve as a creative bridge—passing down the story of Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem to rising generations, not merely as a tale from the past, but as a living message that beats through our daily lives and our future.
Today, we are launching this blog to be more than just a publishing space. We are opening it as our “gathering place”—where we at My Grandfather Canaan Foundation meet with parents, educators, and everyone who carries the responsibility of preserving identity in their heart.
Why This Blog?
At “My Grandfather Canaan,” we have always believed that “knowledge is the path to liberation.” While we dedicate our efforts to designing educational tools and games that bring our children closer to their sacred sites, we found an urgent need for a deeper space—one where we discuss how to plant this love, and how to turn historical knowledge into a daily practice in the lives of our children, ages 4 to 18.
What Will You Find Here?
On our upcoming journey through this blog, we will open up various topics with you:
- Behind the Scenes: How an idea in our team’s minds becomes an educational tool in your child’s hands.
- Identity-Based Parenting: Practical tips and tools to help you discuss the issues of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa with your children in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
- Stories from the Field: Real experiences we gain from and with you, to improve our methods in education and upbringing.
- Tales of the Land: Reflections on our heritage, our values, and how we protect our memory from being forgotten.
We do not write to lecture, but to share with you the journey of seeking what’s best for our children—because we believe that every game, every story, and every piece of information you give your children is a building block in raising a generation that deeply understands its roots.
Welcome to the “My Grandfather Canaan Blog”… Here, we meet to tell the story of the land and build the future of generations together.
